SBCC Wedding Ministry
South Bay Community Church (SBCC) believes your wedding day should be an experience of lasting joy and significance. Our sanctuary is a beautiful and sacred place for your wedding and we will share with you our traditions to provide a ceremony that embraces faithful theological and religious standards. The wedding ceremony is a worship service which celebrates your life-long commitment to each other and affirms your mutual faith and trust in God.
You will be provided with an information packet to keep and is offered to assist in your wedding plans. The packet should serve as a checklist for you as you prepare for your special day. Upon approval of your requested date, receipt of the completed form entitled “SBCC’s Information Form for Weddings”, and the required deposit, your wedding is scheduled.
Food, Drinks, Alcohol and Tobacco:
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises at any time.
No food or beverage is allowed in the sanctuary at any tine, including the rehearsal.
Smoking is absolutely prohibited inside the facilities.
The bridal party may have food and non-alcoholic drinks inside their designated dressing areas before the wedding ceremony.
Respectful use of our facilities and disposal of trash is required and appreciated from you and your guests.

Unless the Lord builds the house,
its builders labor in vain."
-- Psalms 127:1a
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy,
it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves.
Love never fails."
-- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
Lord Jesus, grant that I and my Spouse may have a true and understanding love for each Couple Prayingother.
Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths. Help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the Spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self.
May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year.
Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection.
Amen and Amen.
In the presence of God,
I vow to you my love, friendship, devotion, and wedding ringloyalty.
I offer to you my total support, in all your endeavors and dreams.
I vow to always have faith, to believe in you, to trust you with all my heart and soul.
I open my heart to you completely, that you may know all of my being.
I offer you all that I have, all that I do, all that I am.
I offer to you my life itself, that together we may forever rejoice in service to God.
"...to have and to hold from this day forward.
For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer,
in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish,
'til death do us part."
May God enrich your united lives,
Mizpah Rich, SBCC Wedding Coordinator
